November 22: Last Glover Park Farmers Market
Even last week, it seemed a bit unnatural to have the Farmer's Market...too cold. However, since it is the last weekend--come take advantage of it! Saturday, 9am - 1pm, with great vendors including Walnut Organics, Whisked, Kuhn Orchards, Bonaparte Breads, Heirloom Kitchen, Spriggs Farm, Fiber Arts Festival, Heritage honey, Midtrees Farm, and more. The Big Cheese food truck will be there too! The market is located across from Safeway, in the Hardy School parking lot, at the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue and 35th Street NW.

Bunny Rabbit!
Thank you for the cool front! After a couple of days with severe thunderstorms, we are now enjoying much cooler temperatures and less humidity (high only in the low 80s?).How cute is this little bunny rabbit? He was at the corner of Reservoir and 35th.

Glover Park Farmers Market
First weekend for the Glover Park/Burleith Farmers Market, 9am - 1pm, every Saturday at Hardy Middle School. We bought flowers and herbs; but next week, we plan to try the grass-fed beef, sausage, eggs, and veggies! They even have musical entertainment and a free bike clinic--fun for the whole family! I love our neighborhood.

More Snow...Really?!

A snowy run this morning, with predictions between 1 - 3 inches. The meteorologist said it wouldn't stick--looks like it is sticking to me. :(Tuesday, March 18, 2014

Still Snowing!
The meteorologists got it right! We woke up to two inches on the ground and it is still snowing. No delay from the federal government, probably because most schools are on spring break anyway.
