37 Degrees = iPhone Crash

I am not happy with my iPhone. This morning, I was thrilled to be running in the daylight at 6:30 a.m.; however, the 37-degree weather did not agree with my iPhone. This is not the first time that cold or hot weather has caused it to crash.

Steven traded in his iPhone today for the HTC One. I am seriously considering…iPhone 5C or Android. Hmmmm...

Enough Rain Already!

Washington, DC, has had enough rain this week--over three inches alone yesterday. This morning I ran through the mist. The Potomac was a mucky brown. Although the flood walls were up in Georgetown, the actual level of the Potomac did not look that high. There is actually an iPhone app to check the levels of the Potomac in addition to local paddling news.

Walking in Lower Manhattan

Google Maps and FB zapped my iPhone battery. I got a couple of pics, for future college visits.

10 Degrees in DC!

My iPhone died (again) on my way home from work yesterday (22 degrees and windy)--from 95% battery down to 0%. I wasn't trying to take pictures, just using RunKeeper. This morning, I kept my iPhone in  my jacket pocket and it survived the frigid temperatures. I over bundled and took the shortest route possible.

Gym-Pact Update: $50.40

OK, I haven't been so faithful in posting. My iPhone crashed while on vacation over Christmas with the nearest Apple store over an hour away. Then, I had a tooth emergency, leading to an extraction 12/31/2012, complications with dry socket, etc. Then it was a business trip to Boston... job interview...then my husband's birthday... and now tomorrow is the inauguration. I will definitely try to get some good pictures of that and post ASAP.

The weather here is sunny and in the 50s--gorgeous. Tomorrow won't be as warm.

Sandy Aftermath... Georgetown Survived

The floodgates are up in Georgetown to protect the waterfront; however, so far so good. Apparently, this evening will be the real test with the cumulative saturation and rain fall.

I had a picture of the Papyrus store boarded up, but my iPhone crashed after taking the picture. There were not a lot of people out walking around, but the restaurants that were open were full. Shops were open and empty.

It looks like we will be back to work, school, etc., tomorrow.
